The rest of the team had done nothing the whole series though. Also JT scores instead of hitting the post and people are talking completely different.

The Leafs were top heavy from January-end of this season.

I get that but ask yourself why the super line was so effective in the last 5 minutes of the previous game. The answer is that Columbus was not prepared to handle that line in the most crucial minutes of the game.

There is something to be said about catching the other team off guard and Keefe did that in a game but not the next one.

This is not really true. The super line was ridiculous in game 5 they just didn't score. Not really because Columbus was prepared that time, more because Korpisalo stole on his head.

The "super line" worked -- when the Leafs had the man advantage, 6-on-5. That was domination. Otherwise? Not so much.

Still, the fact it did work at 6-on-5 is why when Freddy let in the 2nd goal -- that unearned softie in Game #5 -- it was such a backbreaker. Until that 2nd goal went in, the game was in reach in the final 2 minutes. When the Leafs were down 2, Keefe had to pull Freddy with 4:00 to go and the empty netter followed it.

Which is, by the way, why Andersen needs to go. That goal was NOT okay.
