Explain to me why the F*** the Jets want to take a contract of a goalie who has injury problems, when they have promising goalie prospects upcoming, and even if they don't do well this year, they can easily get a cheaper option in UFA. Especially not for Trouba, you need to give up significantly more to get Trouba. Think Murray. If Trouba was willing to sign for that much, he'd have signed already. The Edmonton deal is fair, but I think they'd rather have a center back and a deal involving Davidson and Draisaitl for Wennberg and Savard would work much better for both sides, as there's no way Jenner wants to play 4th line.

Unforturnately for CBJ fans......."Blockbuster" and "Trade" don't seem to a realistic. CBJ doesn't have the parts to acquire good young talent without giving up their best good young talent.

These trades are very unrealistic at the deadline. Some just won't happen period.

First off dude no way is Trouba signing for that little bit. And an overpaid Bob who can't stay healthy and is on an horrendous contract. Plus Winnipeg needs LHD not RHD like Prout. You want Trouba then either Werenski or Savard will be going to Winnipeg.
