columbus also had trouble breaking through toronto's defense. korpisalo played extremely well and stole several great chances.

i think toronto needs to be much more aggressive, especially in the early game.

toronto doesn’t take the aggressive route though. they all have the mentality of being glamorous instead of gritty. they don’t want to do the hard work. it’s seems like all they care about is making highlight reel plays. they never jump into plays aggressively they just wait for the puck to magically come to them.

i think in general we all need to pray CECI gets his ass benched. Cause do we want to see Laf with the Leafs. Cause ceci is making that happen, 2 pp and an atkinson goal all courtesy of him.

That's a fair point. Defensively tho, Leafs were toe to toe (in the Leafs zone) with Columbus so the usual "Leafs suck in their own end" does not apply to game 1.
