Well, they need left wingers to play with Draisaitl and McDavid. I think Nuge played on Draisaitl's wing. So they'd need to replace him somehow. If the Oilers win a playoff round this year I can't see them moving Nuge tbh

Chytil, it's a no-brainer. And you trade Strome for your 3C.

Nuge is worth more to Edmonton than he is to New York. And since they are entering their window for contention they won't move him for picks and prospects.

Something structured around Buchnevich and the rights to Strome would tickle my fancy, but with Strome coming off such a wicked season, it's hard to imagine him fitting the cap structure they'd need him to. Overall, I don't think the two teams are a great fit in making a trade.
