This team is still screwed in 2 years when Sergachev and Point need new deals. Palat coming off the books won't cover all of that and the cap could still be flat

Well I wouldn't be shocked to see Johnson waiving for Seattle so there's that. I also think that one of Gourde/Palat will waive

Edit: Palat's NTC becomes a M-NTC in the 21-22 season, so in one season they'll be able to move him without too much trouble

That is an atrocious trade. AC looks like he's blossomed into a perennial selke candidate at just 23.

Tampa easily declines, Julien Brisebois would be fired if he made that trade. He's definitely giving up the 2 best pieces in Cirelli and Killorn.

Columbus isn’t making that trade either. We might be willing to move Texier or Foudy for Cirelli but not Peeke.

Peeke is the only RHD we have coming up and with Savard and Jones being UFAs in the next couple (3 years) he could be the only RHD left on the team.

Cirelli is good, but Peeke is too important to the long term success of the jackets to move.

I hate to break it to you but TB will always lose in these type of trades. TB has to be cap compliant and other teams know it. The only true answer is to move Point and Killorn. Cirelli can be signed to a cheaper contract but Point and Killorn eat up over 10 mil in cap space. Sorry but that is the truth whether you like it or not.

Dude i'm pretty sure i know more about Tampa's current situation then you, I live in Tampa and have been a season ticket holder since their forming in 1993. So yeah i know of their current situation. Bottom like is Brisebois isn't trading Point as of right now Killorn is the only movable piece 14 team trade list. And what makes you think that Killorn would waive for Buffalo? I only see Killorn waiving for legit contenders and Buffalo isn't one.
