Interesting trade. Could work well for both teams. You know you can OS Cernak though right? Sign him at $4.227m and you just pay a 2nd in compensation. Tampa can't match that without being forced to mess up their roster.

Well if your goal is to get Cernak, just offersheet him and pay a 2nd. Then you still have Rakell who you can either keep or trade for another package and come out ahead.
