Arizona already has Hossa to go over the cap max. I think the trade Raanta to open space....

You're capped out...is the problem...so yes it's a deal...either way you move them of Eriksson both scenarios cost 1st rd pick.. At least wings offer allows Canucks to stick farm with 2021 first rd pick...

The Blues aren't trading Thomas... Lol

To get that kind of return from Van you'd have to be taking Beagle and Roussel or just Eriksson, Benn and Baertschi aren't really an issue for Van.

They might have to give bozak and allen away but not sure they have to pay that much to move them. I can't see them parting with Thomas. I'm not exactly sure what the arizona trade is, 2 picks to move stepan. A 1st for sven seems to much for 1 year of 3 mil

Hossa isn't enough being capped out...need more space for LTIR.. Rantaa mayne moveable if 2 yrs term or under but still costs 1sr rd pick to dump or save cap space in this new HRR MASSIVE NHL LOSS COVID SCENARIO

Maybe ..maybe not..thomas is just a top prospect I picked..but a top prospect &/or 1st rd pick is the cost for cap dumping/saving to resign petro & others since ur capped out

Not sure what you said. Or if you understand how LTIR is used with regard to cap limit....

Steen has an NTC; he's not leaving.
Bozak has a modified NTC, and so I can't see him wanting to waive it to go to Detroit.

Might work as a salary dump if you find another taker for Bozak...

NTC Steen and M NTC Bozak don't waive in their last NHL seasons to go to a poor team.
Fantasy about the benefits of LTIR.

He is actually right Benn is trade-able he is making 2 million dollars for one year. Probably trade 6th for Benn and 5th. Sven might mutually terminate his contract than be stuck in the AHL for another year which in the end might be the end of his career so it would be a smart long term play. So, if we trade Benn and put Sven in the Ahl we trade a first to get of 2.25 million dollars I don't think so.

You all need to research the LTIR RULES & cap space ..quit whining to me about your teams being capped out..youre screwed period & must dump salary or lose players..thats the cycle of cap parity..especially nhl HRR being lost the cap isn't increasing enough for a long time

Put down the meth pipe, dude.

And Thomas is not a prospect anymore. He's an NHL star in the making. Catch up.
