Chayka is as green as they come. Dubas atleast paid his dues in OHL and then managing an AHL team to a championship.

I heard they both give great BJs though.

I am only going to agree with you on Yzerman. The rest of the guys have not done anything. Come on really Sakic and Dorian make your club because they are GM's that have gutted their teams and then started a rebuild. You have to be kidding right?

And Dorian Got his Horse togeather, His Karlsson Trade, His Pageau Trade was Good, THE DUCLAIR Trade! If Brannstrom Pans out 50/50 on the Stone Deal, His Duchene Deal was Solid Aswell. Choosing Tkachuk Over Byram. Yea His Byram Trade and Hoffman Trade was Donkey, but atleast he got something in the Bryam Deal in Lassi Thompson

Dude, Sakic Makes Dubas a Joke, His Duchene Masterpiece. He got Bryam, Girard and Bowers. All 3 Really Good Keystones For Colorado’s Furture, He signed the MacKinnon Contract! The Kadri Trade For Him. The Makar Selection! He’s MUUCH better than Dubas

Dubas signed Nylander, Matthews and Marner when everyone said it could not be done. Dubas drafted Sandin and Robertson in back to back years from poor drafting positions unlike Sakic. Dubas thinks outside the box and has actually established a 2 tier farm system like major league baseball where some prospects start in Newfoundland and then elevated to Marlies and then Leafs. Dubas has established the best pipeline to sign top European prospects in the NHL and Leafs proving it by signing Michyhev, Lehtenon and Barbarov in successive years. Dubas has built up the best scouting and professional development system in entire NHL and to such a degree that top unsigned free agents from colleges and CHL want to sign in Toronto mainly for the opportunity to be developed. Do you want me to go on further?????

Not really. I would have let them sit out until they signed my max offer or trade them for players of heart. This would have been acceptable because if I was the Leafs GM then I would know that my team is not good enough to compete deep in the playoffs and I would have time.

You are talking nonsense and just because an extremely young Leafs takes Boston to 7 games but loses twice in successive years after Kadri gets suspended both years you make reckless statements about some young players character. This a young team and their best days are ahead and you just do not want to get into reality.

I live on westcoast of B.C. and watch Tanev a lot but he is not worth $5 million a year. If you think that, i have some nice swamp land for you to take a look at buying.

You know what, maybe you're right. I am wrong. If there's anyone with substantial knowledge I should listen to, it is you. The guy who has been on here 5 months and suggest the Leafs trade Matthew's, Johnsson, Lily, a 1st+ for McDavid so he can have a better chance to win when he is on a winning team. The same guy who things the Leafs are a "powerhouse dynasty"

You Also Got To remember, Mikheyev Fell Under Keefe, and Lehtonan and Barabonov are wild Cards, that Marner Contract is 900k to much and The Brown Zaitzev Ceci Deal, don’t forget that deal, the Marleau Deal can Backfire HARD, even if it was a cap dump. and My points on the Sakic post do outshadow the Signings, and the Drafts, sure Sandin and Robertson are nice, but Sakic done more Than Dubas(yea in a longer stint) he also Kept Colorado Under a Amazing Cap situation, with Room to still get More Ammo, His Grubeaur Deal is amazing, His Francoiz Signing, Sure I’d Put Lou Over Sakic, But Sakic Over Dubas by a mile

There are people in life who are leaders and followers. I have been telling you what is going to happen before it actually happens. You need to realize that the Leafs bus is getting ready to leave and you are going to miss out on all the fun if you do not get on it.

They actually had more than 15 players over the age of 25, but who is counting. If they are a "powerhouse dynasty" not only what they have beat the Bruins, but they would have won a Stanely Cup already lol. Pretty much everyone outside of the Leafs fan base that knows anything about hockey knows the are still far from a Cup lol

Some of the deals you mention done by Dubas were actually to fix screw ups by Lou. I do agree with some of your comments. Lets face it being a GM in the NHL is not an easy job and to be honest sometimes there is alot of luck. I look at the heat that Benning was taking in Vancouver but then he drafts Boeser, Petterson and Hughes in 3 years and he is a genius.

Ik someo Of those were screw ups, but I think A Zaitsev Ceci 1/1 would be fair for both teams, and then The Connor Brown Adding
Leafs SHOULD have Dealt the 2021 1st instead of 2020,

Yea Benning Also Fixes His Mistakes, Dubas Hasn’t Quite done that yet

Your right about Benning and the reason he let the second in charge of drafting walk to Minnesota. Alot of people think Hoglander is going to make the Canucks next year but I am also would not be surprised if Robertson also makes the Leafs. Love Hoglander's lacrosse style goals and think he is going to try it also in the NHL.
