Description
I based the Montour contract to Will Butcher, who gets 3.7 on a 3 year deal. Though Butcher is better offensively, still I did a quick research, if you can find a better comparable please post it.

Lmfao points dont mean that much. Kapanen has more goals, better ppg and has 1 less point while playing 40 games less. It's quite funny how you brought up points because all the info that actually means something proves Montour isnt that good.

Montour was drafted 6 years ago in the 2nd round as a 20 year old because he was passed over at ages 18 and 19 lmfao. 26 years old and people still think he will reach that potential

Ok....First Montour was lost in the shuffle during his draft years because he didn't play in the CHL. Second Montour's 1 1/2 season in the AHL he put up Allstar numbers. Third the Ducks and Sabres are a laughing stock team which make it hard for anyone to excel or progress to their potential properly.

seth jones isnt that good. Montour is an average 3rd pair defenseman who will make almost 5 million, thats absolutely horrible cap management right there. if they are going to give up a good asset and lots of cap space they should at least get an above average 3rd pair defenseman


Montour is a solid 2nd pair guy

And if Seth Jones isn’t that good,
then why would u wanna trade for him?
