Interesting, but I would think Kings decline.

If you made the 5th the 3rd, the Kings would go for it, but the Kings aren't trading out of the top 3. Brännström and a 2nd isn't worth the downgrade from Byfield/Stutzle to Perfetti.

Sens would never do this and Kings fan who say it's not worth it are on crack.

It would be a heavy overpay if it was 3. Byfield and Stutzle are very close so id be happy with either at 3.

If the Kings pick 5th, they're taking Perfetti. That would be the only reason why they'd be willing to trade down from #2 in the first place. There's absolutely 0 chance they take Drysdale over Perfetti. Especially if they just acquired Brännström in a trade.



Moving up in the top 5, even one spot, requires a heavy overpay. The Kings aren't trading out of the top 3 unless they get an extra top 15 overall pick and a top prospect.

Kings won't do it.

At the 3 or 5 its a heavy overpay. Brannstrom is worth alot more and was the top prospect coming back for Mark Stone
