Seems a bit underwhelming of a package for a guy that put up 99 point last year and has a career P/GP that put him just shy of 80pts a year.

I imagine DeBrusk would be a piece that CGY would ask for.

I made a package of Skjei, Suzuki, Bean, and a 1st for Ehlers. Do you think that same package would get Gaudreau?

That's a good question and I'm not entirely sure. Just looking quickly, Skjei and Bean are both LHD (maybe the can play the right though?) bad CGY already has Gio and Hanfin on the left side. Suzuki looks like he has a solid year in the OHL and finished just outside the top 20 in P/GP. Not sure what his timetable is for being pro ready or if he's a pure C, but seems like a solid prospect. The 1st would probably be mid-teens/early 20's (not sure what year you offered). For someone like JG, I'd think CGY would be looking more for quality.

And start adding? Are you serious? Debrusk is young, has a great chance to be a 30 goal scorer, stundicka made the AHL all rookie team, and is gonna be a top 6 center. And giving up another first doesn't make a ton of sense for Boston.

Just curious, what other work XD. Jake is my favorite player so maybe a bit. But to be completely honest, he can easily be a 30 goal scorer. He came close last season, and this year was just a bit inconsistent. If he brings some consistency to his game, he will brake the 30 goal mark for sure.

Right I think he's capable of that too. But that basically makes him Chris Kreider or a poor man's Landeskog at his peak. a nice 2way 50-60ish pts, with most of that being goals winger. Whereas Gaudreau is already offensively peak Marchand at only 3 years older than Debrusk. It's an entirely different tier of player, and as you get up to that tier, the cost grows exponentially. And the difference in cost is worth welll over a late 1st,

DeBrusk, Grzelcyk and a 1st is the max I would do.

I agree with you for sure. I just believe Studnicka is a great piece for the future. I would see Vaak working better in my opinion just because people in Boston are pretty high on Stud including me.
