Description

I think Leafs blueline is ready to go for next season (other than signing dermott). Most people are saying to sign a RHD, but that has already been taken care of: Leafs signed Miko Lehtonen, sure hes not a righty but he has said he can play both sides (he also played an entire season on the right). I think leafs should wait another season to try to find the perfect partner for Rielly. I am currently working on this and need some answers to a few questions:
1. Can Jack Campbell be a DECENT starter for 2021-22
2. What will Zach Hymans contract look like in the 2021-22 season
3. How much will Adam Larsson take to sign with the leafs
4. How much will Blake Coleman take to sign with the Leafs
And obviously I need some feedback from this post too.

Zach Hyman said he would be willing to take a paycut to stay with the leafs, so I wouldn't worry about his contact too much.

Jack Campbell has been a career backup, he's not gonna be your next starter. But if you think you can win with a .900 svg, go ahead.

Dubas should sign Hyman to a tanev deal. 3.5M for 6 years is fair. Team friendly and he gets money for 6 years
Campbell wont be a true starter but could be good in a 1a/1b system like the islanders have.
Bonino for kerfoot can work but they would need to retain at least 750k to make it fair.

Leafs shouldn't go with 21 man roster, it really doesn't work because of minor injuries occur. Rather just keep Kerfoot one with the cap difference add another player. Gotta believe Johnsson's playing value is a second rounder but with so many teams needing to dump cap, his trade value just might be a 6th rounder.

1. Campbell probably more of a strong backup maybe a 1b next season - if he plays 40 games and gets 25/30 Ws then I'd say give him a starter look that last season he signed.
2. Hyman agree Tanev 3.5 x 6 contract
3. Larsson contract think Muzzin with longer term
4. Coleman pending his season in Tampa and factoring in his age and style of play I'd be willing to pay 2-3 million x 4/5 years - wouldn't suprise me if he lands a better payday
