No way it makes sense for Ottawa. Regardless of if it's good value, Ottawa is giving up 7 massive pieces in the rebuild. Sens don't need to make a trade like this at this point in the rebuild.

well there is no real argument lol a guy who already has 2 40 goal seasons and hasnt scored less than 34 in a season and was still on pace for 44 based on an 82 game season vs a guy who other than this season barely cracks 25 goals a season.

Remember it’s not just Eichel it’s also Reinhart and Risto. Buffalo also takes Bobby and White.

Taking Bobbys contract is another topic because Ottawa doesn't really need to get rid of it at the moment. Also Wite has lots of trade value I wouldn't say taking him is doing Ottawa a favor by any means

Keep Pinto, add Logan Brown. Buffalo probably takes this deal. If they're gonna hit reset, this is a good way to do it. But I don't see Ottawa doing it.
