It's funny, I don't like it. But I love trades where people say no from one side and someone says no from the other side. It means it's closer than people think. This is bad for Ana and great for Mtl but I just find it funny someone says no from Mtl. Have you seen Gibson?

Reel, the issue is not Price/Gibson...the issue is Suzuki, you probably notice that Mtl have struggle with centerman for the past 25 yrs (since Damphousse/Turgeon).

Still don’t understand why VGK gave that jewel. I think he’s better than Glass who was drafted 6th ovr.

Suzuki however isn't a generational talent/unreplaceable. Think about the next 10 years. A few with Price, he bounces up and down, then you go looking for a replacement in the abyss of free agency. If you don't find a steal, which basically never happens with FA goalies (remember when we thought Hutton was gonna save Buf) Mtl can miss the playoffs for basically as long as it takes to replace Price. Or you could have none of those problems and need to replace one great prospect. As I watch Vancouver, one prospect doesn't seem like as much as it used to. You can trade picks for players like Suzuki. (older more expensive versions but w/e) Gibsons don't come up.
