Tf is that Killorn trade? Killorn has very little value, like a 5th not 2 2nds.

No, he definitely has value. It might be a known fact that TB has no choice but to move him, but due to how few LW UFAs there are, many teams will be interested in him. He's coming of a 60 point pace season and is a true top 6 forward on a decent contract.

I was afraid people would say this is an underpay actually.

It's Gourde that has practically zero trade value.

Im indifferent to the Tampa trade but Avs trade is very lateral and unnecessary. Sabres trade could work

Well why tf would Ottawa trade a good prospect and a pick for a guy that would help them win now? Doesn't make sense for a rebuilding team does it. Same thing with the Soderberg signing. They can't keep on locking up cap on pieces that won't help them in the long term.

I'm okay with the White trade. It brings back a young skilled OFD who could help the team out for the next 3-4 years as they start becoming competitive again. However, if you are trading one of your top 2 C's for a defense men you should keep the other. Tierney is pretty under rated and still relatively young. The Sens have plenty of good RHD prospects and there is no reason to trade Tierney who can play anywhere in the top 9 and I envision as a 2-3C when they become competitive again for a player they don't need. Rushing Norris into a role is exactly how you ruin him. Maybe if you keep Tierney and trade for a guy like Kerfoot or Mojo who can play anywhere in the middle-6 you can develop Norris the right way.

Just my thoughts. Overall not bad.

You need to have veteran guys who are skillful enough to help the younger players improve. Killorn is ideal because he can be a transitioning piece out of this rebuild. Soderberg is a backstop in case one of the centers can't hold top 6 minutes.
This still isn't a winning team, but they also cant be so bad that it has a negative affect on the rookie's development.

As long as the contracts don't last longer then 1-2 years I'm fine with it.
