I can't see why Montreal would be interested in a guy on the wrong side of 30, but I wouldn't be opposed to trading for Voracek.

Byron is on the wrong side as well... Voracek is a underated 200ft player. Strong with the puck... it's a need in MTL

That's an interesting trade. You dont know how Voracek will look by he end of the contract but he would be something that is needed in MTL and fill our top 6 really well.

Yeah in Subban vs Weber, the older player was better. Also, I don't think anybody thought Subban would crash and burn before Weber. It was a great trade.

Maybe Voracek is better than Domi, but I highly doubt we even seen the best of Domi yet, and Voracek is paid more and is way older.

The value of that trade's actually pretty reasonable on both sides, especially by Armchair GM standards, but it's still tough for me to see Philly taking that. Philly's already pretty deep on C, so they don't have much need for a Max Domi.

3 years more but Domi would request +/- the same salary... I think with the youth MTL has... we can add Voracek.

Look at what cost player who once made 70pts sign for$$$ If you go on a long term... you might be ok at 7-7,5M... otherwise he would go
