Doubt if the cash conscious Isles would want to give up their potential stud Dman in Pulock. LW seems to be one of the Isles strength....Nelson, Ladd. It's hard to see a contender that could fit Hartnell under their cap.
Would the Canes be a fit?, with their supply of Dmen?

Like I said, I saw "Islanders interested in Hartnell" headline on hockeybuzz. Could lead to an interesting conversation. I really need hockey season to start!

Wouldn't exactly call Hartnell a scrub. Put up .62 PPG. The only current Islander with more is Tavares. Your next best guy is Ladd at .59 PPG

Yeah i don't see it happening. Simply because there is this apparent displeasure with Hartnell like he was caught punching a baby in the face or something. He's a good player still but people have soured to him a bit. not sure if that translates to NHL GM's. I'd like to think they're smarter than that.

With that said, retain a little salary on Hartnell's contract and there's a deal to be made.

Lol Jacketsman, Pulock is a young potential top 2-4 dman. I think it wouldn't happen because the Isles would say no. CLB would be silly not to take that deal.

No, you misunderstood. I was agreeing. But what I was meaning is the Isles would have to give up something decent in a deal. Pulock would require more to the Isles.
