Maybe i'm completely off the rails on this one. If it's the case well just let me know.

It's kinda hard to gauge J Anderson and Puljujarvi's value. I feel like an early 2nd for puljujarvi in a stacked draft might work. For the jackets, i'm not sure they'd be willing to trade Anderson but who knows.

I think both deals are fair. A 1 year deal makes Anderson a UFA, so you may want a longer deal.

If he is moved it's almost assuradly to a western team. But I have to think they keep him.

I think that these trades are very accurate as to value, and they certainly address the RW need. It's an interesting question about the trade-off: are you going to regret not having those two draft picks in two or three years when Burns and Karlsson start getting REALLY long in the tooth?

We did get help on the RW, but I don't like the idea of Anderson or Puljujarvi in the top 6

I also don't want to give up an almost 1st rounder for him
