I think it would be a great trade for Ottawa. Very little risk and decent potential to become a steal.

Leafs only do it because they need to shed the salary. Not because they want to.

Columbus doesn’t do this. Tbh a better offer would be Liljegren, Robertson and a 1st with a player to even out the cap. Columbus would go full rebuild if they chose to move Jones, that included moving Werenski, PLD, Merzlinkins and Korpisalo... I don’t see them doing that right now.

Seems like the only the Leafs have to overpay for Jones (any RHD). Gee, please show me how Jones is this big difference maker

I'm constantly amazed how team like Minnesota, Columbus and the Ducks have all these great Dman and the Leafs are begging to get their players.

I think Jones is very overrated and overhyped.
I rather have Nylander for 4 years, my future top 4 defenseman and some good picks then
