Jets are in serious need for a 2C, Eakin isn't enough. Roslovic is a mid 6 winger, a second rounder for him is generous. Im thinking about trading a second and Strome for Roslovic and the first. I think i agree with the Ottowa part though, maybe a team like the Devils who have 2 picks in the top 10 or Sabres.

What 2C is gonna help that second line.

Roslovic is a future top 6 player and if the jets still think he is a c, our future 2c. And the jets will not give up that first. The last time the jets drafted in the top 15 (aside from laine) they landed ehlers.

No one knows who strome really is because we all know his numebers were inflated by Panarin but don’t know how much. You seriously don’t think strome is worth a 12 oa and Roslovic do you? Because that 2nd is worthless to the jets if it means losing a 12 oa pick. Imo roslovic and our 2nd this year is adequate for strome.

As for you concern that the jets need a 2c, no they don’t. They have an adequate one in little, the issue is that he doesn’t have chemistry with laine. After this season I think that issue is solved as laine will be the new top line rw with scheifele and Connor while wheeler will play with ehlers and little. Even if Pomo puts laine back with little I think they can produce decent toghether now since laine is a more complete player and can play a variety of ways now. Problem solved. Anyways we will have a new 2c writhing then next 3 years max (likely) considering the jets’ history with first rounders

Imo he is. The guy played great to start the season and showed that he was still capable in a 2c role. His production may not show it from past seasons but you have to realize those are from seasons when he was saddled with laine with whom he had no chemistry whatsoever. Anyways we just need to bear with little as our 2c for a season or 2 max by which either roslovic or our draft pick this year will likely be ready. So he doesn’t need to be good, just adequate. Anyway, next to ehlers and wheeler I think he can hit 50 pts in a full season no problem.
