Raymond at 6 would be a fantastic pick, him and Rossi are fighting for 4 imo, Gunler at 17 would be an even bigger steal tho, skill wise, he's better than Holtz, he just had attitude issues coming into the year, and he has seemingly not had any issues at all this yr

Montreal, Ottawa, Anaheim, New Jersey, Detroit, could all use a right handed defenseman. If Ottawa end up with one of the first three pick and selected One of Byfield or Stutzle they will consider very much Drysdale who would make a real good duo with Chabot.

Detroit has no need with hronek and seider

Hou mean the Hronek who is -38 this year. Inlike the kid but if Detroit have him played on their top 4 they will be in trouble. Seider is really interesting but not sure he got

Yeah they do, Both Hronek and Seider have been basically playing LD. Which tells me Yzerman is either drafting Drysdale or plans on being a major player for Alex Pietrangelo.

Raymond wont make it to 6 he's probably top 5 and fat chance of Krug signing with the Devils even if he did it's closer to $8 million per then $7 million per. And fat chance of Hoffman taking a 1 x 7 deal he's going to want to get paid.

There a huge difference in being-38 and -15. Hronek was use mostly with the first unit this year and have done a very poor job defending no mather how you look at it. They can very use another top defenseman in this team no mather what you say. They pretty much need every position players to fill their roster with.

Kings would probably take him at 4 if that’s where they’ll stay. I’d prefer holtz or perfetti though. But yeah, doubt he gets by Anaheim

Reasoning on Hoffman contract is that this free agent market may not be flush with cash or long-term deals. No use pretending the last 3 months didn’t happen, I think everyone sees less in contracts (even Hall Petey Krug) but the super talented young RFAs like Barzal, Cirelli, Sergachev etc. So if the term isn’t there for a premium scorer like Hoffman, looking for Jeff Skinner money, then he might take a one year deal and try again next offseason with a presumably rising cap and league stability.

Ideally I wanted a defensemen in the three picks, but Raymond has been playing LW and it could be a couple years until Gunler would even challenge for a spot.
