No Hall

Description
Hall does not fit the team.
Lets add 2 SC winners instead.
Edmundson would take the deal due to the market and him wanting to win. Chara would still play a huge role on special teams and in the most crucial situations using him more effiiciently.
Carter, while a gamble, I believe can be a 50pts player on the bruins. LAK would retain some salary and give him the possibility to win a cup. Also adds winning mentality and a lot of experience.

Halak is gonna get 3million plus. If he is that cheap then every team will be after him

Honestly, not half bad.

Good Moore deal, good Carter deal (but I think they would need to retain a little more)

Good contracts (debrusk gets another year?)

The only thing is that you are a little heavy on the Krug deal (ESPECIALLY after the flat cap today)

Also, Bruins wont get Halak for that at all, with the flat cap, he will still get 3.5 to 4 +

ALSO: IM guessing this is in response to me and @ON3M4N s posts, thats weird. We both made it clear that it was just fun ideas, you dont have to say "No Hall", just call it "Cup team"

Question for Bruins fans....where is the perceived value for Kase at?

It seems like he had a bumpy short stint in Boston and I'm seeing a lot of people want to deal him on here. What's the price at this point?

Thank you for the feedback.
Sorry about the name, I just came here to relax while writing a paper at 1AM and saw a few with Hall, so I decided to try and do something a little different.
It is not a specific response, just wanted to say its different.

I agree with all the Halak points. I don’t understand the Moore trade. Why would the Hawks take on a contract like that? They’re already heavy on D. Plus paying a lot for em (De Haan, Seabrook contracts). Kase is a guy who can skate. Carter is a great player and still has a crazy good shot, but is way over the other side of 30 and he can’t keep up with how fast the league is. Plus he’s got another 3yrs left on his deal. Even though LA would retain salary, you’d run into something like you had with Backes.

Hall doesn't fit the team and is not needed, agreed.

But Edmundson is bad and is not needed. And lol the " 2 SC winners ". Bruins have 9-10 options on D so he isn't needed either and signing him for more than $2M is a mistake. And no, he can't play top pair.

Carter isn't good anymore. He is okay but don't want him and for 2 more years. We need more speed and skill. Kase fits that so Kase needs to stay.

Hopefully CHI would accept, idk

Good deal for Bjork, DeBrusk, Chara. Don't know if Grzelcyk will take that but good deal if he does. Krug, I would target under $7M but that's not bad.

With Kase's and Ritchie's acquisitions, Bruins have a complete lineup (or almost). They just need health and build chemistry between those lines. D is set and G are elite (Halak will get $3M somewhere else).

Aside Edmundson+Carter, everything seems good.

Kase didn't play for three weeks before his trade and he had to adjust to a new system and new linemates. So it's normal he doesn't produce right away. But he was looking better every game. If it wasn't for the pause, I'm sure he would be killing it with 74 and 46. Bruins have been looking for years for an RW and they finally have one. Idk why some fans trade him, it's just stupid.

Right, Kase's analytics have been ridiculous basically since he stepped foot in the league. I don't think I'd deal him for Carter straight up, which is why this trade seems confusing...
