I probably watched 30-35 kings games this year, I woulda watched more but i do shift work and am on nights half the time. i watched him plenty. Now, if you wanna pretend you are some sort of magic eye scout who knows so much good for you, that doesnt change that you are wrong. Quick was not good. He was bad.

So explain to me how he was bad then. Was he bad because they lost games? Lmao

You are so dumb lmfao. Re-read your reply to @Kings989

read what? the fact that the kings have two hurdles to climb? getting elite players AND trying to figure out how to fit them (if they can find them) under the cap at the same time as the absolute stinker contracts the kings gave out?

he was bad because he didnt stop enough pucks, this isnt rocket science. Pucks he would have stopped even 2 years ago end up in the back of the net. His reaction time is slower, his positioning is worse and he cant read forwards well enough anymore.

three good players? three? Like are you remotely familiar with the toronto maple leafs at all? three good players? my word that's hilarious.
Now back to LA, they might rebuild, they might not. They have some comedically bad contracts to work around that belong to rapidly declining players that go on for years. Any rebuild that comes from the Kings is going to be several years in the making. More than 3 easy, but if you'd rather have that than be within earshot of being a contender than sure, you do you.

lol, three good players.

Yes 3 good players. Remember your best defenseman was our 3rd best D and your Best goalie was our Backup and your only player with any heart was on our 4th line. I love you Cliffy!!!!!!!! Yes I’d much rather have a rebuild then 3 overhyped players that will never win. As far as our “bad contracts” they will all be off the books before we have any issues with the cap and Doughty will still be better then anyone on Toronto’s D.

Kings have Vilardi, Turcotte, and Kaliyev whom all of which are elite prospects. As well as A prospects such as Anderson-Dolan, Bjornfot, Kupari, and Clague. Are you living under a rock?

So, you think there are only three good players out of Matthews, arguably the best goalscorer in the NHL, John Tavares, 90 point Mitch Marner, William Nylander, etc? yeah good one
As far as Muzzin being your third best D....maybe 2 years ago, Drew Doughty got absolutely caved in defensively this year, and that started last year. so no, he's not better than Muzzin anymore, at least defensively (or offensively since Doughty got one more goal and padded his assist total with secondaries in significantly less games) but sure, go off.

Way to make that up. So what's your explanation for Toronto and their goalies not stopping enough pucks?

Turcotte is an elite prospect. Vilardi and Kalyev are good prospects, None of these guys project as elite guys in the way the Leafs have young elite guys. that doesnt mean they are bad, they just arnt Matthews or Marner. the rest of the prospects are mid level ok guys who could be good and pretty much every team has prospects like them. Hell, the Leafs have guys at that level on top of their already elite young NHLers.

nah, see, i watched him.
as far as Andersen goes his main issue was basically confidence. He didnt cut down angles, had poor gap control and on top of that his timing was off after coming back from an injury

I love how you have to specify "90 point" mitch marner. I appreciate that though. I get confused with all those 60 point seasons.

Except their defense lol. Kaliyev is the 2nd best goal scorer in last years draft behind Caufield. Read an article...

who? Anderson or quick?
Quick was just an absolute **** show all year after his injury and he never seemed to have full mobility back.

wait, Kaliyev is the 2nd best goal scorer? that's crazy! especially since the guy the Leafs drafted 20 spots later had 11 more goals in 11 less games! that's just crazy!
Maybe if i'd read that one article instead of knowing about more prospects than my own teams i could have seen that!

yeah, the guy who scored 97 points last year and was on pace for 94 this year is totally a 60 point player.

Anderson.

Anderson was good last year, he started rough, mostly down to timing and dropping down way too early. That all but left in november and he was solid if not spectacular right up until the playoffs where he seemed to forget where the net was for 4 out of the 7 games

Will you do some research for once? 11 more goals 12 less points. How about you compare them the season before that. Ferraro along with everyone else stated he is the 2nd best goal scorer and his stats prove it. Barely a difference this season, but hoW about looking at the year before...

If that's the case, Quick was on pace for another 10 wins, Kopitar was on pace for over 70 points, and the Kings were on pace for another 14 wins.

Not so bad after all?!

some research eh? well see, you said goal scorer. So, the goals were kind of the point of the point. And even if people said he was a better goal scorer before, the results of the current season seem to prove otherwise, by a significant margin. Almost like how people said Laine was a better goal scorer than matthews and it turns out that he isnt!
Right now, Robertson is a better goal scorer than Kaliyev, if Kaliyev was so much better than he wouldnt have been destroyed in goals by Robertson

yeah, because 1 goal more in the same amount of games is totally the same thing as 11 more in 11 less.

If they won the next 12 games they would make the playoffs and the extra 2 I added because that's probably all they'd win.
