hahaha playoff experience. the kings are so playoff experienced that they didnt even make the playoffs twice in the past 6 years and played 9 games total.
7 game winning streak? WOW! that puts the kings 1 whole point out of 30th in the league. please, tell us more

Do you have any idea how stupid you sound? How many times has your team gotten knocked out in the 1st round in the last 20 years? Way more than mine.

Hes gotten injured how many times in the last 3 seasons? Don't say to much he'll decline much faster than Quick.

and if he does, oh well. Like i said, the leafs arnt tied to him past this season. The kings have 3 more wonderful seasons of paying a rapidly declining goaltender to damn near 40 years of age.

our ****ty goalie actually only had one bad year. and he's significantly younger and way more likely to bounce back. Oh and he doesnt have a horrific contract so if he keeps being bad he isnt sticking around to muddle the cap and keep being bad. so thanks! I will enjoy him a lot more than you will enjoy quick

Our ****ty goalie has 2 cups. I’m ok with his contract. Yours has zero and never will. But maybe our back up will get you there😂😂

And yoh

what does this have to do with my team? I mean, you want me to talk about how the leafs have been terrible like it's some sort of secret? Why would i do that when we're talking about the kings.
if anything that should give me great insight into what a terrible, go nowhere team looks like. Infact, the past 3 seasons the leafs have made the playoffs every year (and were going to make it this year too, while the kings finished 3rd last most likely), and pushed a top 2 team in the league to 6 or 7 games. The Kings, by comparison, have played 4 games and got swept by an expansion team.

but yes, please tell me how vital Jeff Carter's playoff experience is when it didnt do sweet cherry pie for your team

the kings are literally 1 point out of 2nd last in the NHL. They were literally a lotto team last year and lost the lotto. I dont need to get excited homie. That **** is all but written in stone.

Homie? Lmao. 4th from the bottom actually. But you know what you're talking about..........

Your talking about your goalie on one of the best teams in the league vs our 2 cup goalie on a rebuilding Team. I’m very satisfied with our situation. Quick earned whatever his contract is. He’s gonna be a great mentor to Peterson who is an absolute badass. I loved Campbell and there’s a major reason he was expendable.

im talking about one goalie being bad and declining and your fellow Kings fan pretending he is still good enough to carry them to the playoffs VS my goalie having his first bad year ever on a team that still all but made the playoffs despite it. Did Quick earn the contract? Maybe. Is he worth it now? No he is not, and he will be worth less and less of it and if teams get a compliance buy out he's probably top of the list depending on if your Owner can get dustin brown arrested at the airport with some drugs on him so they can void their his contract.

Your team had an extra what, like 50 *****ng years. When all the Canadian teams were just handed the best players. We’ve only been around 53 in a much larger league. I wouldnt brag about winning when there was 6 teams. Regardless we won’t have cap issues anytime soon so good luck with your 3 good players.

im not bragging, im using ancient history to provide context as to how Quicks 2 cups mean nothing in accounting for how he isnt good anymore, similarly to how the Leafs cups have no means to hype how good they are now. This, when presented in a similar matter to how you brought up Quick's cups is meant to emphasise the meaningless connection that any old cup win has to the current abilities of the players being discussed.

You sound dumber and dumber every comment. Your arguments have no weight. This is not a pissing contest. Quick had a good season and hopefully he has more. Quick is still good, Peterson is going to be great, and the future is bright in LA. Nothing you say can change that. Your opinion does not matter. Your debates are silly. Have a nice day.

you can comfort yourself all you want but it doesnt change that Quick had a bad season, all signs point to him continuing being bad and probably getting worse, that aint my opinion, that's just ageing curves.. Peterson might be good, who knows, young goalies are hard to predict but his current track record looks promising. Quick's looks terrible. My opinion carries just as much weight as yours, and if mine is silly, well then you sure are in for a surprise about your own. .

Lol all I know is I’d rather be LA then Toronto right now. 3 good players and no cap does not end well. Leafs are gonna disappoint, LA is gonna rebuild and be great again as a team.

three good players? three? Like are you remotely familiar with the toronto maple leafs at all? three good players? my word that's hilarious.
Now back to LA, they might rebuild, they might not. They have some comedically bad contracts to work around that belong to rapidly declining players that go on for years. Any rebuild that comes from the Kings is going to be several years in the making. More than 3 easy, but if you'd rather have that than be within earshot of being a contender than sure, you do you.

lol, three good players.

We have over 30M to work around "bad contracts" and 0 expensive RFAs to resign in the next 2-3 years. Theres nothing to "work around" lol.

I'm not talking about the games against the Maple Leafs(which we won most of) I'm talking about every game throughout the season. I'm done arguing with a guy that doesn't know what he's talking about(shocking from a leaf fan lol...) Ask any Kings fan or anybody that watched him close this season. He did great....

cap space is as useful as what you fill it with. The leafs filled theirs with elite NHL players, the kings are going to fill theres with what? Do they have any elite players like matthews or marner hanging around? no? ok then. Cap space aint gonna win the kings any cups

I probably watched 30-35 kings games this year, I woulda watched more but i do shift work and am on nights half the time. i watched him plenty. Now, if you wanna pretend you are some sort of magic eye scout who knows so much good for you, that doesnt change that you are wrong. Quick was not good. He was bad.
