lol Why does montreal think they can get Barzal or Dubois

NYI wouldn't give up Barzal for Suzuki, CC, Romanov, Harris, Kotkaniemi and MTL's 2020 1st?

I just gave up almost all of my A level prospects + Suzuki and possibly a top 10 1st in 2020.

This conversation is over.

Nah.... we’d rather have Weal who’s contract is shorter...he’s a throw in to make the contracts work. He’ll like be on waivers after the preseason.

Domi is the only player you need to extend and probably 6.5 mill tops. How is there a discrepancy in contract balance if you're giving at least 7mill to PLD and at least 5 to JA?

The point I'm trying to make is that Barzal is tradeable as opposed to your comment that sounded like Barzal is not going anywhere no matter what anyone offers.

I was trying to sound nice.
Barzal ain't going anywhere unless you give them a player that will be or is better than Barzal

In this Trade he is... I was saying that it’s 2 contracts for 2 contracts.... also Columbus can dump Weal next offseason and sign someone else with that contract spot. Anderson will be closer to 3 and PLD will be around 7....

Don't feel like dragging this but s***w it, I'll entertain this. He's calling me out just to get likes cause there's a void somewhere inside of him that he needs to fulfil. Do you also feel empty inside? Or you just don't see that he's trolling?

I disagree. Any team drafting in the bottom 5 this year would give up a 2020+2021 1sts for Suzuki or CC.

Regardless, both teams say no. Those aren’t realistic trades. If they were MB would have already done it.

No. Essentially COL traded Duchene and Turris for all those assets which not even 1 of them was a regular NHLer at the time. Only Girard has become an impact player from all of them. Was Byram drafted with the OTT's 1st?

No it was a 3 way deal not Colorado trading Turris and Duchene. Colorado sent Duchene to OTT, Turris went to NSH, Girard, Kamenev, Bowers, Hammond, OTT 1st, Nash 2nd, and OTT 3rd went to Colorado.

Yes Byram was the 1st rd pick. The 2nd was traded to WSH for Grubauer. 3rd Justis Annunen who has been awesome in Liiga. Bowers will be with Avs next year (he was a 1st rd pick that year). Hammond was a thrown in, but he actually won a playoff game that year. That is a massive haul for Duchene.

I thought you were the most sensible one here, But after those trade' Pretty sure that went out the window.

I see how this went down.

Marc..."c'mon Scottie & Timmy, lets go to the hockey player store".
Timmy..."really??? you are letting us come along with you???"
Scottie..."it's not every day we can go and watch a true shopping genious in action"

Marc..."this shouldn't take long................oh, here we are, at the #1 centre aisle, why don't we splurge and buy 2! so Timmy you put Barzal in your basket, and Scottie, you take Dubois in your basket! Ok, let's go to the checkout now". I'm sure we have enough cash, picks, and players to cover this purchase."

Scottie..."wow Marc, shopping with you is so much fun!".
TImmy..."I hope they are in good condition when we get them home. Hey Marc, can I hold on to the receipt for you just in case we have to return one?"

Marc..."sure Timmy, you hold on to the receipt. Next year, we will buy a new franchise goalie and top 4 RHD man to replace our aging stock".

Dude... let me break it down a little different for you. Basically COL send Duchene to OTT for Turris, Bowers, Hammond a conditional 1st and a 3rd. And then COL flipped Turris to NSH for Girard, Kamenev and a 2nd. Duchene didn't bring in that haul, it was him and Turris. OTT didn't get anything from NSH for Turris.

Realistic trades? It's just a game of me trying to convince you why it's a fair trade weather if it's based on equal value or fulfilling needs.

3!? I reaaaally doubt it bro. After the year he's had with injuries hed want a long term extension for insurance, with at least 5 mill cause he will base his argument on his previous years and that he hasn't peaked yet.

Can you tell me what has happened with Wennberg? I've been following his career since the beginning and looked so promising but since that concussion, **** has hit the fan. I haven't watched any CBJ games this year, do you see any glimpse of him getting back on track??

Anderson will be in the KHL if he wants more then 3.... no one is going to pay him that. I was thinking 3.5x3 might the longest he gets.... he’s really only had the one good year and it was only 40ish points. If that gets you 6.0x7 PLD is going to ask for 10+x7......

Wennberg has looked better this year, but still looks like he was a one year wonder, just like Anderson is looking like. Torts also pushes some players I different ways then they respond to. Anderson and Wennberg seem to not like torts.
