If they lose that revenue, they may reconsider the salary cap - or it will likely be the low end of the estimation, so $84m. I don't see it likely that it sits at $88m come next season.

Let's not forget that all of these guys said the cap was going to be $84 million last year and it ended up being $81.5 at the last minute, and they didn't actually decide until after the draft which screwed up a lot of movement anyway because teams didn't know what the final number was going to be. Don't get your hopes up that it goes to the high end.
