I mean, he's figuring out the NA game in the AHL right now. He's starting to play better for sure.

But he's not gonna crack the top 6 on the Jets anytime soon. Domi would solidify a spot there no doubt.

It could also allow the Jets to package a guy like Roslovic or even Ehlers (if something presented itself) to help the D.

After watching the game tonight, I wouldn't trade for Scandella. He was absolutely horrendous.

Trying to figure a trade sending Domi to WPG but Heinola is a no-no from the Jets so Vesalainen and a 1st needs to be involved. What else should be added ?

Petry and Weber can carry anyone and have but it affects their play .
Chiarot came along actually contributing more then his fair share and look at Weber's success .
Scandella may not be that guy but neither is Kulak is my point and when it comes to 3rd pair RD i'll take the only D of the two who hits ,blocks shots and plays an all around game.

With romanov so close i'd rather Scandella then Kulak there to help balance out the back end .

besides we can get more flipping Kulak and Scandella will sign for less to stay in his home province.
MTL can play match ups more like Claude likes subbing in Scandella for size based teams over Mete giving us 6 players who will hit and block shots.
if we didnt have Mete for a speed option then sure keep Kulak but if we're keeping Mete longterm with the group of Prospects we have all overachieving on LD then Kulak has to go .

Whatever his role may be, he's not someone I'd want on the ice in the playoffs. If I'm the coach of an opposing team, I'd be telling my forwards to attack him every time he's on the ice.
