Anaheim is weak at RhD and would require a replacement of some sort for Manson if they trade him. Substitute Timothy Liljegren for Dermott and this is much closer. Dermott is not really on Anaheim's wish list because the Ducks have Fowler, Lindholm, Larsson, Guhle and Mahura on that side plus Jackson Lacombe and Henry Thrun in the system.

Dermott can play the right side with top 4 upside and will be easy to sign on a bridge or flip for a RH equivalent player.

What are you talking about? Did you watch tonights game against the Ducks and watch Marner's magical passes that resulted in Leaf goals. Marner is a franchise player for the Leafs and he will help Matthews score the most goals of his career this year by playing with him.
