Horrific how so? Your losing Barrie at the end of the year for nothing. The team has enough scoring power. Mcnabb is a beast on the blue line.
Also Dumba is done in Minni that trade would work. Maybe throw a pick in and it’s a done deal

This is crazy that in 2020 people think protection is a thing. Reaves was ON THE ICE when Tom Wilson injured Marchessault. Reaves is good only for retribution and grit/hits. That's about all. Which is fine. But let's drop the fantasy of the ice warrior who stops hockey from being physical by result of their very presence. He doesn't protect the big guns. It's crazy to me that people ACTUALLY think hockey players stop hitting other hockey players because they MIGHT have to fight. Tkachuk was flying around against Edmonton... Who has Kassian... HE HIT KASSIAN TOO. Lucic was on the ice during a huge scrum, didn't stop a soul. In fact, Lucic was on the ice when Reaves took a run at a young Calgary defenseman, too. How many more examples are needed?

And no one has taken liberties on the Leafs. That's a myth. Not every check is "taking liberties". Marner, Matthews, Nylander, none have been run or attacked. Not even since Matt Martin was off the team. They got run more when he was, actually.
