He's a potential Top 4, two-way guy, with size. Edmontons left side is a log jam with Klefbom, Nurse now, and Broberg in the future.

What do you think will Nurse ask for? 6 mil per or so?

Adding a guy like Tatar definitely gives the team more options, and I could see them going with 3 c's depending on the playoff matchup.

MTL don't need Khaira. We will take Gagner instead of Manning for cap space. Puljujarvi, Gagner and a 1st can be a good trade.

It's looking like they could settle for a 2 year bridge deal in the 5.25-6 mill range. The number most likely start with a 5 on a 2 year deal, anything longer might push above 6.

This wouldn't be enough for Tatar. For him it would probably be Gagne for the cap, a 1st with a prospect like Benson or McLeod depending on what the Habs think of either prospect.

I'm sure of course to that Habs would retain 50% if Bouchard was any part of the return.

I don't see Holland adding a 1st rounder to any deal, unless there are serious conditions on it.

Bouchard is a no go. I don't think Benson or McLeod would be off the table, but I do believe that 1st isn't going anywhere. I would think Benson AND McLeod would be more likely than one of them and a 1st.

I think that 1st is on the table depending if thier leading the division or not, if Edmonton is looking at playing a wild card team they may give that 1st up knowing it will be a late pick anyways. Still think they would want retained money though, they need forward depth and the extra couple million would help them out this year and next.

I like what MTL is getting back, would want some conditions on the draft pick because Tatar can definitely help them next year as well. 2020 2nd turns into a 1st if Oilers make Conference final?

Hopefully, Puljujarvi can succeed in middle 6 and feel more comfortable in MTL with a number of Finnish players around him (know that was an issue in EDM).
