man Brown basically ripped the hell out of the team.
I don't blame him at 35. He's basically said, we are old, and no young guys are stepping up and taking over. It's facts, at least he's honest enough to say it.
This team is basically done. Anything of even remote value on the 24+ age should be sold off and just tank the next few years as they pick up picks and rebuild.

I think that Vilardi has lost a year in his development, so he, Fagemo, Kaliyev and Kupari start the year in Ontario.

I hope that Turcotte spends another year in college.

Brown, Carter and Quick are unmovable.

i dont think carter is immovable, the other two probably but think the kings wouldnt mind them staying around as much because they have been here for so long and are good locker room/character guys to have around the young kids

I think that with his contract, plus the rumor that he's threatened to retire if he's traded, makes Carts unmovable. But you're absolutely right about the need for veteran leadership.

Toffoli gets moved for sure. Ive watched turcotte a couple times and I don’t believe he’s ready. a couple games I didn’t even notice him. I think Carter could be moved if they retain a bit. I think he’d be a good add for a contender looking for some depth. My hope is Cliffy is resigned. I think Grundstrom and maybe Frk make the team. Peterson too. The young guys continue to develop next year. JAD kinda reminds me of Stoll a bit. But I’ve watched Ontario this year and very inconsistent. Vilardi also is very dominant with his hands and hockey sense but looks very slow to me. When they get setup in the O zone he looks amazing but chasing pucks down and back checking he looks 2 clicks down from most in the speed department. I like this teams future though a lot of guys that just need to keep taking steps. I believe after next year we will see a big jump up in their skill level. I think tmac is already instilling the compete and never give up work ethic. They just need to groom the talent to score enough. I think Kaliyev could be a huge key! If he can score goals at the nhl level like he does now we are gonna be real good. We need that Legit number 1 sniper. You can’t teach that.

And Carter has more goals then Toffoli at this point. So I think if the kings ate 2m they could easily get a 2nd maybe more. Carters age is the main negative at this point. But if he had 2 more years at 3m instead of 5 I think many teams would be willing to try him out. And I remember a interview of him saying he never said he would retire he plans on playing those years no matter what but he would like to stay
