It is always good thinking to add scoring depth for the playoffs, or Chicago’s case trying to make the playoffs. I said yesterday if Strome & DeBrinicat can catch fire on the third line, then on paper, this team will be hard to stop. They will have three scoring lines. Toews has finally gotten his winger (since Hossa) The first line has been dynamite. Dach in the middle will Kane and Saad looked unstoppable against Arizona.
I worry that too many players acquired at the trading deadline can disturb team chemistry. In my opinion, the Hawks are showing team chemistry in their last 10 or 12 hockey game. The test will be against Boston this coming weekend. The one thing which the Hawks need to improve on is their power play and their scoring will be just fine.
Kamp has been solid as a defender, a decent face-off winner and can kill penalties. Sometimes, the best trades are the ones not done.
