I don’t understand why you want Sheary. He stinks. Sure if you put him with Crosby, he’ll score tap ins.

Simply put, they don't need Holden. They have Slavin, Gardiner, Edmundson and Fleury as LHDs. Holden is unnecessary.

Could imagine Canes being interested in Schultz as a rental though. With Hamilton's possibly long-time injury, there's an open slot for him...

Holden is a RD though he is left handed.

Canes are also deep from the right side as well with Hamilton, Pesce and Van Riemdsyk. Sure Hamilton's injured but Holden is not a valid replacement for him. Not good enough.

He's be doing better than most of Sid's wingers as of late... They didn't curse the man out of town, they just couldn't afford his cap at that time.

Hamilton is pretty much done for the year. Golden is more than likely not the "golden Ticket" but he would be a cheap 2-3 RD pairing. (sorry, Holden)

It's weird that I would feel bad losing Holden, but he has been very good wherever Vegas has asked him to play, top 4, LD, RD, PK. He has moved the puck well and been solid defensively.

But I think I would do this trade. But watch Coghlan pull a bit of a Marino next season lol.

That's why I want him on the team.

I think Vegas has Whitecloud as an RD who will be ready to go in the NHL also, and he has the smarts to play in the league. Maybe only a 4,5,6 type but I think Vegas will have a good roster player there at the position. So the trade could work for both sides.

Well, I don’t think you’re aware but Sheary was actually the scapegoat when the Pens got eliminated during the 2017/18 season. The fans were all over him on social media. If he were to come back the city would riot. He might be the most hated player in the team’s history.

Wow...really? That's harsh...
I mean....I'm no Conner Sheary fan...but I think there were a few guys ahead of him that got way more ice time and perhaps should share some blame for that.

Buffalo does not have to trade Sobotka . He is LTIR and gone this summer. Just not a fan of Gally . He never fails to disappoint no matter where he goes

Yeah Sheary took a ton of negativity from the Pens fans after they got eliminated. A lot of them went onto social media and attacked him with insults, they even went after his wife. It was a whole saga and everyone knew he was done at that point. The fans, they ran him outta town. Sheary is the equivalent of what Mitch Marner is to the Maple Leafs. Both are made the scapegoat by their respective fan bases.

That's horrible how Sheary was treated. I'll disagree with you on Marner. His contract/negotiations aside, fans know he's a valuable member of the team and well liked.

Honestly I don’t think Marner is very well liked by the Leaf fans. I always see on Leafs social media people talking about what a joke of a player he is and how they need to trade him. I live in Toronto and whenever fans call the 1050 or 590 radio hosts to share their opinion, they talk about their disapproval of Mitch.

No offense man...but if you're going to use social media to gauge how most reasonable fans feel about a player/person/anything...it's not the right place to look.
Social media is toxic. Remember it's the same social media that did what it did to Sheary.

Yep you are right, people on social media are not the friendliest and most objective.
