If you don't like the trade below I think the canucks would also be interested in trading a 2021 lottery protected 1st, juolevi and a cap dump for domi

Canucks have 3 solid lines
The top line has been very good
The second line has 3 solid players, I like boesers chemistry with horvat better than pettersson. I also think domi can raise both their levels and will be a great complimentary piece.
The third line is solid too, canucks would legit have a very dangerous top 9.

The defence stays relatively the same except Rafferty pairs with fantenberg. Edler stecher and tanev Hughes have great chemistry together so this is perfect.

Montreal was interested in Baertschi recently, they also have to improve their defence. Myers and juolevi could help that. There's a lot jam on canucks left side defence so juolevi won't have a real chance.

Ohhh ok I only included him cuz apparently he was involved in a potential deal from the canucks. Any cap dump would work on Montreal side tbh

I don't think MTL who say yes simply because Domi is loved here, but it would be way more fair.

Any deal that would send domi to the canuck would start with hoglander and a pick. Domi is 25 and just enter is prime years. Myers is not interesting at all for montreal, sven beartschi is the charles hudon of the canucks a players who dominate in ahl and can’t have success in nhl. And juolevi is the noah juulseb of the habs, a first round pick who have been more often on injury reserve then on ice. This return is just not good at all.

a trade for Domi probably starts with Boeser... Domi is driving that team, is young and they are building around him so to get him it's going to cost.
taking a bad contract back does not devalue Domi's worth to MTL. Juollevi has little to no value as he has never played in the NHL. and Baertschi is a cap dump for the nucks which counter acts wiese coming back, so essentially it's Myers for Domi and a 3rd... which is as comical as it sounds
