He’s definitely not a player I want to trade, but I am also convinced the Wild need to go through a complete rebuild. Brodin’s is 26 years old and a logical candidate to be moved if the Wild do invest in a rebuild. To answer your question, I believe he is worth Kapanen plus a mid-round pick or a 1st and a mid-round pick. Ideally, I would like to throw Donato in the deal because the Wild already have too many forwards. IF Donato makes any sense for the Leafs, what would be your offer for Brodin’ and Donato be? OR, what would you ask back for Kapanen and Liljegren?
