As a Habs fans, I find this very ironic considering Bergevin has locked price to a 10.5AVV contract until he's 37. Habs are paying Price with the expectation he'll give the Habs couple very very good season like the one from 2013-2017. Man...some Habs fans and Sharks really are overstating the value of their players.

Anyway, one thing for sure is both Doug Wilson and Marc Bergevin are good at giving "retirement contracts", which are too long

If it is for the CURRENT Carey Price? No. If Carey was still performing close to his 2013-2017 season, Sakic would probably consider giving up Byram but his contract also presents an issue.
