Description

Saad's been in the rumor mill a lot recently. I know Boston seems to be the big name but Edmonton is in there too. People like Saad to Pittsburgh but there's some hometown bias there. I really think he goes to Boston. Edmonton makes the most sense though.

That Oilers trade is not a good one for Chicago. A prospect who will likely never see more then a few games in the NHL, a cap dump, and $1.5M retained for a 1st round pick? C'mon that's insane. Remove Skyler and replace with Benson or Lavoie and it's a deal.

Oilers should still eat that up. Saad is a great fit for the Oilers, Avs or Pens and brings a lot to any one of those teams given his cup experience and ability to be a defensive power forward on the first or second lines.

Don't think we would like to retain any salary for Saad and would def need a better return from oilers.

VGK seems a good deal.

TML won't do that deal so unlikely to go ahead.

The Hawks got a late 1st rounder for Ryan Hartman....... They can get a late 1st rounder at the deadline for Gus. Prices are higher at the Deadline and they could get a 2nd for him now.
