Description
1) Clear out some older prospects / trade requests
2) Not sure if enough going to CAR for Pesce
3) Sign Hainsey to be veteran #7 that can play both sides to give Sandin/Lilj games off
4) Anderson veteran backup for a year - kick Andersen's heir down the road a year

The issue with the Carolina deal is Räsänen. His agent's hair brain idea to have him play overseas has comletely undermined is development to the point of him not even being on the NHL radar. Would really have to ramp up the 2nd piece imo. Nevermind given the Canes depth at almost every position (and fairly young at that), I don't see them being active at all, short of offering Matthews or Taveres lol.

No way Timashov and Bracco are worth a 2nd. Just no, where Gautheir I think nets more than a 7th.

Smart guy says Timashov and Gauthier to Edmonton (as they have NO bottom 6s at all), maybe nets a 3rd.

The issue with the Carolina deal is they're not trading Pesce (and certainly not for that offer).
