The only of the three that you named that may have affected trading for a D is Johnsson because he could have/might be a guy headed to another team for said D.

The Mikheyev injury is a rough one...that was hard watching. It's also going to be tough evaluating him because he's likely done for the year and Dubas has to evaluate him based on the early schedule and what contract to bargain.

Crawford is done, you dont need 3M struggling Backup for the 20 Games that he should play to unload Andersen, give Hutchinson + 2021 3rd to Pittsburg and save DeSmith from being in AHL....where Hutchinson will be Top Dog for Wilkes-Barrie.

As for the trio of Johnsson - Kerfoot - Kapanen, the most expandable is Kerfoot, Winger trying to play C, Engvall was more then decent at his C tryout with Marlies....
