Detroit gets nothing AND retains salary? HA! You must realize Ceci and Hutchinson have negative value - the leafs would have to add a high pick or prospect for teams to accept them in a trade. Brooks is not that.

If you want to dump salary it cost picks, Hutch is bad, Ceci, thought average is 4.5 million, and Brooks is going to be 24 and never been in the NHL. You took 2 million and dumped over 6 million. If you want to dump cap again it will costs picks. No there is no insentive to trade Howard, not that there should be but if you want me to eat 4 million it cost something.

Leafs aren't giving up all that for 1.5m years of Hamilton. Howard is IR. Wings can get more when if healthy from some team.
