Hot Take: Both 1 seeds from last season, in TBL and CGY, don’t make playoffs. Just have a weird feeling both teams have been dealing with issues.

I have faith in Tampa to get it back on track. I don't know about calgary though: aging defence aside from Hanifin and kylington, about an average centre depth, and the goaltending doesn't give me full confidence either

Dallas looks like a freight train right now and the Blues have Barbashev and Bozak in their top-6 and possibly the league’s worst 4th line. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Blues slip to a wild card

Yeah a freight train that was stopped to a screaming halt. The UC was electric tonight, Dallas had no chance.

they were in my hon. mentions meaning I think they could easily do it. my gut feeling is mtl and Florida, but I'll never rule out Crosby and malkin
