Where is Haas, P Russell and Sheahan? Granlund has consistently been one of the worst players on the team. He is gone when Nygard gets back.

Russell and Sheahan have been two of the top PKers and Sheahan is the best FO player and has been the 3C.

Best line-up with these players would be:

1st & 2nd line, no change
Nygard-Pageau-Haas
Khaira-Sheahan-Archibald

Persson to Bakersfield to get more acclimated to North American ice and more playing time.

I do think EDM would benefit from a guy like Pageau, but Ottawa will definitely get better offers. He's on pace for a career year and has shown to be quite the playoff performer in years past.

Pulujavari has had his name brought up into Ottawa's trade circle and I would say him, a 1st or 2nd pick would be the starter for trade with OTT. Cheap depth UFA vets (signed for under $1M) like F Tyler Ennis and D Dylan Demelo could also benefit EDM come to TDL. Ottawa does have the room to clear space for EDM like taking back Gagner and/or Manning if needed.

Pageau is gonna bring a 1st rounder. His versatility, special teams play, and defensive abilities will make him one of the most sought after pending UFA's at the deadline. I'm thinking Puljujärvi + a 2nd rounder.

I dont think JP as a centre piece moves the needle much, they can grab a 1st and a prospect based on reported value for him. JP doesnt get you a 1st+ type value.

its crazy but apparently the value is a 1st + a prospect for him. Like Hayes was last offseason. So it would have to be JP a 2nd and still a prospect if thats the case. I dont think JP is near any 1st round pick value that other teams couldn't out bid on
