And I'm pretty sure that feeling is mutual NYI doesn't him back. I saw this yesterday NYI wants AA

I think a trade for AA should look more like this - AA to CGY

I don't know about Honka and I'm perfectly fine with trading Kuffner. but I saw this today - Honka

CBJ has been very patient with Milano and it looks like he is now on the roster to stay and could have a good year. Columbus isn't going to trade him for Erne especially not now when Milano is starting to breakout.

I'm not a fan of Puljujärvi and I'm pretty they wouldn't accept this trade a lot of Oilers fans want AA for Puljujärvi. I think Hirose and a 3rd is an overpay. In the NHL Hirose is at .44 pts a game while Puljujärvi is at .27 pts a game. I know Hirose's ppg wont stay like that for long but he has already proved that he is a full time NHL player and Puljujärvi still has to prove he can be a full time NHL player.

Minnesota isn't going to give up Kunin for Bowey.

I'm not sure Winnipeg is going make the playoffs. They just can't catch a break. So I doubt they will be buying this year.

Yzerman signed Nemeth because Green, Daley and Ericsson most likely won't be back and that would leave as Detroit's D looking like this in order of experience: DeKeyser(441), Bowey(113), Cholowski(66) Hornek(63). So what if Yzerman traded for Erne, Perlini, and Fabbri because he has plans to move Helm, Neilson, Abdelkader. I left Glendening off that list because at $1.8M he is a steal.

I was just having some fun with these, I don't suspect these to be the exact trades obviously lol, just throwing the ideas out there, and some guys who we could go after and players that are expendable. Funny enough you say that about Hirose because he got scratched tonight, and I think he is headed to GR when Glendening gets back. And Helm I fully expect to be moved, hopefully for a 3rd with some retained. Nielsen will be hard but doable, and Abdelkader kinda in the same boat as Nielsen I guess, maybe a little easier actually. And in my mind for AA is a first round pick and a mid-tier prospect and I'm happy. I know Calgary fans on here have been all over AA, and same but I think to a lesser extent with Isles. I don't know who I would rather make that trade with though. Depends on how it looks at the deadline, but right now I would say Calgary.

Yea I saw this yesterday too, and I don't like it. This draft is too deep, even around the 20-23 range, you are still getting a really good player. If I'm Stevie I'm not taking anything less than at least a first and a prospect, not some former first round pick that hasn't really worked out, and a late round second. We've gotten two former first round picks for our table scraps, I definitely don't want that to be the main return in an AA trade. I would rather scout and draft our own players.
