I don't like him at all he is carried heavily by John Tavares. And honestly overpaid for his play. I am gonna say he might have some skill but being the liability on defense not so much of someone I would look at trying to trade for.

What do you think is a fair trade for marner

I think Marner is a great player not going through a great spell. He has elite stick handling, agility and vision. I think even with Matthews getting 12 million, Marner could've still settled for 9.

Well, you are a fan of heavy hockey with lots of grit and physicality. Marner would obviously not fit your interests. Tavares is the best player on the team and a poors-man Crosby when it comes to driving the play, however, Marner has performed better than all his previous wingers. Keep in mind Marner had a very good second half of 2017-18 when he played on a line with Kadri, would've been on pace for 90 points. He finished 14th in Selke voting for the regular season, so he is no slouch. Just having a tough year.

Probably not that low just wouldn’t ever be interested in having him on the Blues. Realistically Toronto is gonna want Parayko which is bonkers for the Blues.
