Doughty’s absolute worst is still a top five d man in the league. He’s better than Karlsson by light years and you have that guy number one. He plays 26 minutes a night, was 2nd in Norris voting just over a year ago. 15th in MVP voting when D men never get MVP consideration. You know, that guy.

Seth Jones, I don’t know, maybe you don’t know who he is? Plays 25 minutes a night, probably the second best d man in the east behind headman. Blue jackets best player the last two years. Heard of him? 4th in Norris voting two years ago. Think he was 9th last year.

You had David savard on this list. There is no possible universe where anyone could think David savard is better on his best day, than either doughty or jones on their worst day. Savard is the third best d man on his team.

Managing to find 10 right D ahead of drew doughty and Seth jones is embarrassing and impressive. Then i saw David savard at four and it’s just embarrassing.

Absolutely Tuuka Rask is playing like a monster and Jaro is playing all the bad teams behind a good defense. Put any backup goalie in that situation they’d b doing j as good. Jaro cannot bail a team out behind a bad d, as he showed when he played on the isles (when they had bad d.) Other goalies not on this list can, like Hellebuyck and Lehner
