I certainly don't understand all the love for Toffoli on this site. And Leafs aren't trading for an unneeded winger by trading a needed RHD. Some team will overpay for Toffoli but not the Leafs

Yeah, I'm not sure why the rumour seemed to gain traction. We're not exactly wanting for a winger; he's 4 years and expensive; we need a RHD of some kind.

It's just not really a trade that either team wants even if it works under the cap.

I'm not a fan of Ceci on top minutes but Muzzin - Barrie should be the first line IMO.

In case you all back east didn't notice, Toffoli was a healthy scratch last night.

He's either 1. not playing well. 2, is about to get traded. 3. he won the players pool and who gets to sit out watch game 7 of the World Series.

And the last third of the ball game coincided nicely with the last period of the hockey disaster.
