Risto has to be the most traded guy on this site, but why? are Sabres fans posting these? Your team is doing well and he's a big part of that. Plus who's gonna fill those minutes? Bogo? Scandella? Dcore gets thin after that for a contending team
Also, the trade is garbage haha

They're overloaded on the RHD, that's why there's so many Risto moves.

as a sabres fan i dont want risto to be traded ATM. I would prefer once the Defense is healthy they try to trade scandella or bogo for picks possibly

He is traded by Sabre fans for 2 reasons:
1) They think acquiring Jokiharju, Miller, and Montour was an indication that Betterall was unhappy with Ristolainen, instead of looking at the trades as being great pick ups.
2) The press totally misinterpreted his interview. (I am paraphrasing) He said he was unhappy that he could not bring a winner to Buffalo, which was heard that he was unhappy with Buffalo.

If he is traded it would only be for a great return (a consistent 60 pt center or forward) and I do not see that in the future.
Finally, considering that Buffalo has a 2.25 GAA (4th best in the NHL) yet Buffalo has 3 NHL defensemen on ir I would think it is a good indication that the defense is actually very deep.

I agree and honestly I think that this is exactly what will happen with Scandella, probably at the TDL. Bogo? I'm not so sure. I don't think any GM would trade for him. TBH I would like to see Okposo traded for a pick if only for the fact that his contract is by far the worst on the team.
