I can see them finishing 5th but they have no depth up front and their goalies are questionable at best. I think they have the deepest 10 defencemen in the league and need to trade them to get better offensive pieces.

They have a great top 2 lines and a decent 4th... defensively, only question is 3rd and for some odd reason KYLE FRICKEN OKPOSO is playing half decent on the 3rd line which only spells good...An improved D will help goalies, the amount of shots faces last year and good opportunities made the goalies look bad.

I personally think Middelstadt is awful and maybe if only one of Vesey/Johansson/Sheary were in top 6 I could see that as a good 2nd line but with 2 of them it's very suspect. Love Olofsson though, he's going to have a big year. I'm not a fan of Sabres 4th line options either. Larsson/Zemgus/Sobotka/Wilson/Lazar/Thompson just don't do enough for me right now but I would like to see Lazar or Thompson get another shot at top 9 minutes though. I think Buffalo has the resources to be a really good team, upper management just has to use them.

2nd love won't be with Mittlesdat, Johanssons will center with Skinner at his L wing and I'd have to look a RW...I can't remember right now sorry

Yeah it's supposed to be Skinner, Johansson, Sheary/Vesey on line 2 but I don't think that's good enough honestly.

Johansson is a great playmaker, he is also amazing at zone entries...did you watch OT vs Colombus or someone...the one he won it in...very good kind of overview of him, very responsible defensively, and patient offensively...know what to to when

I'm not so much worried about Johansson as Sheary/Vesey. I think ideally they're the 3rd line of a contender but Johansson as 2C isn't a problem.

I agree, I think Sheary is a perfect complement to a smart passer like Johansson because of how fast he is, we will have to see...there was a time when he was fairly good.
