suter last year and year before:47 pts, 51 pts. buff: 31 and 45 with concerning injury troubles. over their careers its close I guess, but suter narrowly edges out buff for me. I'm a leafs fan who really admires buff so I'm not biased either way and buff might make a case to be in the same category as suter but I'd take suter over buff right now any day so I chose him

over career, relatively even. but in terms of who I'd rather have on my team today, suter any day, mainly because buff might retire. If the whole retirement thing never happened, then this might actually be debatable
