Its crazy. Every time a Brodie trade is mentioned on here the past month (not even from Habs fans) the cost has been going down and down to the point of it not even being within reason anymore.

I can at least get Habs fans wanting him for cheap but Cgy fans selling Brodie short is mind boggling to me. OK maybe his value took a slight dip but some of these offers are for bottom pairing players.

Oof this one hurt to look at. If extended Faulk is getting Kase Brodie (if extended) should get roughly the same return. Faulk is better than Brodie but not by much.

Faulk is also a few years younger than Brodie, a Right Shot Dman, and in the Eastern Conference.

He has more value to the Ducks than Brodie, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Canes are adding a 2nd or 3rd round pick in with Faulk since they have 2 first round picks, a second round pick, and 3 3rd round picks in next year's draft.

When a team is offloading a player they probably aren't intending to keep, the package needs to be a bit better.

Rumor has Ducks are adding to Kase not the other way around. Nevertheless there wont be a trade between CGY and ANA when CAR offers roughly an identical deal.
